This first website is my absolute favorite! It is from National Geographic for Kids! There are:
1) videos of the Peregrines hunting
2) sounds of their bird call
3) maps of where the Peregrine lives
4) gorgeous pictures of the birds
Biokids has another great website. It is written at a higher reading level. Here you can find information on how long it takes for their eggs to hatch, how long the bird will live, how big they get, and a more in depth look at where the Peregrines live.
Defenders of Wildlife has a basic set of facts for the Peregrine Falcons. Another map is available on this website as well. This is a great place to make sure you are getting all the correct information.
If you would like to know more about training falcons, PBS has an wonderful resource for learning about how they are taught.
The Peregrine Fund is by far one of the most popular websites for Peregrine Falcons, but there is A LOT of information there. Take your time here!
The International Heritage Conservancy website is Mr. Hendee's website. Click here to donate to help out the conservancy and to find out more about the organization.
